On or about
Monday 28th for a period of approximately 10 weeks a drilling
platform and support vessel will be operating on the River Ely.
There will be approximately 16 bore holes drilled at various
locations across the river at approximately 130 metres down stream
of the Cogan Spur Bridge- (see
attached plan)
The drilling platform and support vessel will display lights and
shapes in accordance with the International Regulations for the
prevention of Collisions at Sea and will remain on a listening watch
on VHF channel 16, 18.
Mariners should navigate with caution in this area and keep well
clear of the operations
