During periods of
low river flows and Spring tides it may be necessary to restrict
locking operations.
Operations will be restricted to: Outbound locks on the hour
Inbound locks on the quarter to the hour.
The Harbour Authority is constantly monitoring water quality and
strives to maintain normal operations when possible. In the event of
extreme weather conditions it may be necessary to impose further
restrictions.
Mariners are advised to contact Barrage Control on VHF Channel 18 or
telephone 029 2070 0234 to confirm their locking arrangements during
periods of Spring tides.
