Buoys have been laid at the entrance to the Mermaid Quay/Inner Harbour
Area in the following positions:
Inner Harbour 1
Fl.R.5s 51º 27.537N 003º 09.953W
Inner Harbour 2
Fl.G.5s 51º 27.497N 003º 09.793W
Navigation beyond
these buoys is restricted to a maximum of 5 knots. Due care and
consideration must be taken over the wash created and speed reduced
further if necessary.
Vessels are also
reminded that wash can travel into the Inner Harbour Area causing
disruptions from outside of this 5 knot area and vessels speed must be
reduced prior to entering the Inner Harbour Area.
Vessels are also
reminded that the above restriction also applies to the Rivers Taff
and Ely and around any moored craft area such as the new Cardiff Yacht
Club moorings and in front of the Barrage lock area. |
