French Market |

The French Market returns to Cardiff this weekend.
Situated at Cardiff Bay’s Roald Dahl Plass, the market will be
open from Friday June 13th from 11am until 5pm, Saturday June 14
and Sunday June 15 from 10am until 5pm.
Stalls at the French Market will include:
Pancakes and Biscuits from Brittany, Cheeses, Bread, Tarts and
Croissants, Coffee, Garlic Mushrooms and Prawns, Caribbean Food,
Charcuterie, Olives, Spices and Dried Fruit, Provencal Soaps,
Wooden Toys, Jewellery, Onions, Garlic, Shalots & Fruits, Music
stall, Flowers & Green Plants, Table Cloths, Montelimar
Confectionery, Jumpers, Basketwork, Cold Saus,Scarves, Bags &
Sunglasses, Paris Handbags, Tartiflette - Sandwiches & Paella. |

Diamonds at Dusk sponsored walk |

Cardiff Bay
Marie Curie Cancer Care are joining with Red Dragon Radio’s
‘Help a South Wales Child’ to hold a sponsored evening walk
around Cardiff Bay , across the Barrage to Penarth and back and
encourage people of all ages to join us for a fun night-diamonds
are optional!
We hope that you might want to either do the walk with friends
or family or come and help us on the night. Red Dragon will have
support from their broadcasters and will have some entertainment
at their end and we are planning to have the RAF St Athan Band
playing for a few hours in the bandstand out in Windsor Gardens.
You may already have heard this being promoted on Red Dragon
Radio and we are hoping that we gets loads of support from the
local area-please all tell your friends!

Cardiff Outdoor Action Show |

Roald Dahl Plass, Inner Harbour
11.00am - 5.00pm
The Outdoor Action Show, including Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing,
will take place on the Roald Dahls Plass and around the pontoons
on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of June. The public will be
able to come down to the Bay to see a variety of exhibitions or
have a go at some water activities on the Bay or in the Canoe
Pool. There will be a range of activities on both land and water
designed to suit the beginner, novice or the more experienced.
There will be BMX, skateboard and inline demonstrations from
Team Xtreme and a number of local high quality retailers around
the area. |

Noddy
Charity Walk |

12 noon, Cardiff Bay Barrage (start) –
Wales Millennium Centre (finish)
Join Enid Blyton’s much-loved children’s characters Noddy and
Big Ears in Cardiff Bay! We are expecting over 500 people to
join the sponsored walk in aid of the Noddy Appeal for Children
with Arthritis. Many Doctors and health care professionals will
also be joining this annual event, with the money used to
support research at the hospitals in the UK where special
treatments and research is carried out, and many Welsh Children
are referred after going to the Cardiff Children's Hospital. |
